Winter Robin Wall Hanging workshop - Saturday 21st November 2026 10.30am-3.30pm

Join us for a fun full-day workshop where you'll make a lovely "Winter Robin" wall hanging in a relaxing atmosphere. Techniques include applique, free motion and quilting. Learn appliqué to add dimension and detail to your work, explore free motion stitching for creative expression, and discover quilting methods to bring your project together. Our tutor will guide you through each technique as you create a beautiful Winter Robin wall hanging to take home.  All materials provided. Skill level -(not complete beginner) you need to be able to use your machine and have basic knowledge of free motion (alternately you can use straight and zig zag stitches)

Includes all materials. 
Shapes will be pre drawn on to Bondaweb for students. Acrylic templates from of the design will be available to purchase on the day. (Templates by Crafty-UK)

Requirements:

You will need to bring your sewing machine with a darning/free motion foot and be able to drop the feed dogs  on your machine.  Also a basic sewing kit including scissors, notebook and pen. 

 (Rhiannon will carry your machine downstairs for you)

Time : 10.30am -3.30pm Please arrive 10-15min before class begins.

Tea/coffee will be available throughout the workshop. 

A Maximum of 6 students.  Please note that we need a minimum of 3 students enrolled on the workshop or it will be subject to cancellation. If we cancel the workshop we will refund in full.

Workshop and Classes Terms and Conditions

We require full payment in advance to secure your place. This can be done in person at the shop, online via our website or by telephone during shop hours.  Unfortunately, we cannot hold places without full payment. 

Our classes/workshops are non-refundable.  Please make sure you are able to attend before booking as our workshops have limited places available. If we have to cancel the workshop we will refund you in full.

In the event you cannot attend you may send someone else in your place. We will need the name of the substitute student in advance.

Please note that the workshop space is now downstairs and Rhiannon will carry your machine downstairs for you. 

All participants must feel that they are able to exit the premises with the minimal assistance in the event of an evacuation.
