Sewing with Miriam - 4 Weeks - Starting Wednesday 23rd September 2026 6.30pm-8.30pm

Sewing with Miriam are fun classes where you bring your own project to work on! This can be dressmaking, alterations, cushions or bags. Miriam will help and guide you as and when needed. This might be in starting a new project or help if  you're stuck on certain techniques on a current one!  Also a great opportunity meet fellow makers and sew socially.

These classes are suitable for beginners and intermediate sewers who have done some machine sewing. No materials are supplied for these sessions. However the shop is open for you to purchase items you may require on the night.

Workshop and Classes Terms and Conditions

We require full payment in advance to secure your place. This can be done in person at the shop, online via our website or by telephone during shop hours.  Unfortunately, we cannot hold places without full payment. 

Please make sure you are able to attend all dates before booking as our workshops have limited places available and classes/workshops are NON REFUNDABLE. 

In the event you cannot attend you may send someone else in your place. We will need the name of the substitute student in advance.

Please note that the workshop space is now downstairs and Rhiannon will carry your machine downstairs for you. 

All participants must feel that they are able to exit the premises with the minimal assistance in the event of an evacuation.
